USQ Social is a new and sophisticated space created for the ever evolving needs of the modern independent stylist and their clients. We thrive on maintaining a positive working environment and aim to create a diverse and welcoming atmosphere for all.
Renters and their clients will benefit from a newly designed space with top of the line equipment including Takara Belmont chairs and high quality mid-century modern furnishings surrounded by exposed brick, original hard-wood floors and extremely high ceilings with the original moldings.
We offer the amazing Milbon product line which is available for use and purchase for and from your clients. For those who require color products, we provide a broad range from both Wella and Goldwell.
Most importantly, our location is ideal for those who live and work both in and outside of Manhattan. We are steps away from Union Square and therefore benefit from the convenience of practically every subway line in the city. If NYC is the centre of the universe, 14th Street is the centre of the centre of it all!

Owner / Master Stylist
Tom started his career in Tel Aviv over 20 years ago, making his way to New York City in the late 90s. Fulfilling his life dream of working in the epicenter of fashion. Tom takes pride not only in his masterful craftsmanship but his ability to collaborate with his clients to create beautiful styles and have them feel fantastic when they leave his chair.
Theresa Adams
Theresa Adams has been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. She started as a makeup artist, but eventually found her true calling in hair, working initially in the editorial world for New York Fashion Week and magazines. Theresa began working in salons in 2001, which quickly became the heartbeat of her career. Through hard work and dedication she now also travels the globe training and educating other hairstylists for L'Oreal Professionnel. Theresa loves working with her clients to curate a look or style that represents each individual beauty. Trends are fun, but style is eternal.
Ryan Hill
Ryan Hill has been a hairstylist and colorist in NYC since 2005. Over the years, his work has been shown in print, NYFW, and the streets of New York City. His focus in hair has always been to design, color, and shape in a way that flatters physical traits and enhances personal style. His clients know that when they sit in his chair, they will receive one-on-one attention and that Ryan takes deep pride in his work. From sleek bobs to platinum waves, precision and detail are a constant. Now, at USQ Social, Ryan has more creative freedom than ever and looks forward to this exciting chapter of his career.
